Project Manager (Marine)

About the role

McMahon Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Marine to join its Engineering & Projects team in Dry Creek, South Australia. You will be responsible for the safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of marine‑related projects from planning through to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Manage marine projects through planning, mobilisation, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, schedules, budgets and commercial performance.
• Oversee procurement, contracts, variations and project reporting.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues and implement practical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, Australian Standards, WHSEQ and quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management or construction project delivery, preferably with marine or infrastructure projects.
• Strong commercial awareness, contract administration skills and ability to manage budgets and forecasts.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Current driver’s licence and Construction Industry White Card.
• Willingness to obtain relevant security clearances where required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using project management systems such as Pronto, InEight, Aconex or Procore.
