Project Manager – Infrastructure (Townsville)

About the role

Aurecon is seeking an early‑mid‑career Project Manager to join its growing Program Performance team in Townsville. You will contribute to high‑impact infrastructure projects across Defence, Government, Social Infrastructure and Construction, delivering innovative solutions for complex challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong client partnerships and co‑create tailored solutions.
• Lead and manage design and construction schedules, aligning with client expectations and specifications.
• Deliver projects from concept through handover, overseeing scope, risk, financials and reporting.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects across the full lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Regional Leads and the Program Director to report progress and milestones.
• Travel occasionally within Queensland to project sites as required.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship and eligibility for security clearance.
• 4–8 years of experience in a project management role.
• Proven ability to work in complex stakeholder environments and manage competing priorities.
• Strong documentation, report writing and presentation abilities.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
