Project Manager - Infrastructure Delivery Program

About the role

Mott MacDonald's Project, Program and Commercial Management team is hiring a Project Manager in Brisbane to lead delivery of multidisciplinary work packages within a major infrastructure delivery program covering transportation and civil infrastructure and related specialist services. The role manages scope, programme and budget, supports strong commercial outcomes and works with Project Principals, technical teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead work packages of varying scale, meeting or exceeding client expectations and keeping scope, schedule and budget agreed.
• Support Program Managers and Directors on major design and construction projects.
• Set up and maintain project controls for scheduling, risk, cost, change and reporting.
• Monitor financial and commercial performance against targets and take corrective action where needed.
• Ensure compliance with Mott MacDonald's project governance, risk management and quality assurance frameworks and external regulations.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners such as architects, engineers, planners and environmental specialists.
• Build client relationships, solve delivery challenges and mentor junior colleagues.

Required profile

• Tertiary or vocational qualification, with progress towards chartership where applicable.
• Experience leading small to medium projects in a project environment.
• Demonstrated project management experience across scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality and commercial performance.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external partners on complex infrastructure projects.
• Ability to contribute to proposals, bids and identify further opportunities.
• Clear written communication and presentations in English; collaborative leadership style.
