Project Manager – Fit‑Out & Refurbishment

About the role

Join a fast‑growing fit‑out and refurbishment contractor delivering projects from $500k to $15m across commercial, leisure and hospitality sectors. As Project Manager you will lead daily delivery of high‑quality, on‑time construction projects, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Administer head contracts and sub‑contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead tender processes and develop construction methodologies that win contracts.
• Design and communicate comprehensive project programmes to the team.
• Identify, manage and escalate construction risks as needed.
• Control project expenditure, cash‑flow and financial reporting.
• Develop project completion plans and manage defect identification and rectification.
• Provide coaching, guidance and leadership to the project team.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering fit‑out or refurbishment projects from start to finish.
• Proven leadership ability and experience motivating teams.
• Strong knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
