Project Manager – EPC Projects

About the role

Como Engineers is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead EPC projects for the mining and mineral‑processing sector. Based in West Perth, the role oversees the full project lifecycle, coordinating engineers, designers, construction teams and stakeholders to deliver safe, on‑time and cost‑effective outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete EPC project lifecycle from planning through execution, monitoring and close‑out.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to meet quality, cost, schedule and risk targets.
• Promote and enforce WHS culture, implementing risk management processes on all activities.
• Develop, negotiate and administer contracts, variations and procurement packages.
• Prepare and review execution plans, schedules, budgets, cost estimates and progress reports.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including studies, engineering, design, construction and business development groups.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement of project delivery tools and templates.
• Mentor and develop project team members, fostering professional growth.
• Occasionally support site‑based construction, commissioning and client interface activities.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency and residence in Perth.
• Engineering degree, preferably with postgraduate qualifications in Project Management.
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience in the mining or mineral‑processing industry.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale EPC contracts and multidisciplinary teams.
