Project Manager (Development Compliance)

About the role

Bennett + Bennett is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Development Compliance team in Brisbane. The role works on a range of development projects across Southeast Queensland, helping clients move from plan sealing and titles registration to successful project delivery. It suits someone who enjoys working across multidisciplinary teams and solving problems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage development compliance projects from approval through to completion
• Coordinate clients, consultants, contractors and government agencies
• Review development approvals and identify efficient pathways to project outcomes
• Monitor milestones and timeframes, identify risks and resolve issues
• Facilitate communication within the project team
• Advise clients and support them through the development delivery process

Required profile

• Experience managing development, infrastructure, planning, construction or property-related projects; minimum 5 years in a similar role preferred
• Background in property development, project management, development management, construction management, town planning, surveying, engineering consulting, infrastructure delivery or property consulting
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Good written and verbal communication and relationship building with clients, consultants and government authorities
• Proactive problem solver who can work autonomously in a collaborative team
