Project Manager – Construction Development

About the role

Concept Eight is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Construction Development team. You will own the delivery of new restaurant openings, refurbishments, and equipment roll‑outs across a portfolio of fast‑casual brands, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project management for restaurant refurbishments, new builds, equipment roll‑outs, feasibility studies, tendering and internal approvals.
• Coordinate handover processes to ensure a seamless transition from construction to operations.
• Manage contractors, sub‑contractors, suppliers and consultants throughout the project lifecycle, including warranty and defect management.
• Maintain documentation that meets stakeholder requirements, building codes, WH&S obligations and Concept Eight policies.
• Drive budgeting, cost control and financial reporting for all projects.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, planners and franchisees to develop and revise design plans, M&E specifications and finishes schedules.
• Oversee utility confirmations, tendering processes and procurement of equipment, materials and services.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction and fit‑out projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, planning approvals and WH&S regulations.
• Excellent stakeholder and contractor management skills.
