Project Leader or Package Leader - Architecture

About the role

Mega Recruitment is recruiting, on behalf of a national architectural practice based in Sydney, an experienced Project Leader or Package Leader with 8+ years of architectural experience. The role takes ownership of projects and packages, working closely with senior leadership across design, documentation and delivery, and leads project teams through to construction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects and packages through documentation and construction
• Allocate tasks and coordinate team workloads
• Work with senior leadership on project strategy and delivery
• Coordinate consultants and external stakeholders
• Manage project programmes, deadlines and deliverables
• Review architectural documentation and technical quality
• Identify project risks early and manage client communication
• Support junior and mid-level team members and take ownership of project outcomes

Required profile

• Minimum 8+ years of architectural experience, preferably current Australian experience
• Proven experience leading projects and teams across multiple delivery phases
• Experience coordinating consultants and multidisciplinary teams and working with clients
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills, and ability to mentor others
• Overseas applicants will not be considered

Required skills

• Design development and documentation knowledge
• Solid technical and construction understanding
• Revit capability is highly regarded
