Project Engineer – Security & Building Systems

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Project Engineer to join the Central Technology Team of a global leader in electronic security and building automation. You will own the full engineering lifecycle for security and building‑automation integration projects, from specification analysis to programming, commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse plans, functional specifications and contracts to define project requirements.
• Prepare shop drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Program, test and troubleshoot security and BAS platforms.
• Provide on‑site commissioning support and ensure successful project close‑out.
• Participate in custom integrations, system upgrades and network configuration.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with project managers and sales teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least five years of experience in the electronic security industry.
• Strong programming and troubleshooting skills on security/BAS platforms.
• Ability to read technical plans, produce documentation and manage multiple workstreams.
• Valid driver’s licence and security licence.
• Experience with data‑centre environments, BIM360 or Revizto is a plus.
