Project Engineer – Road & Bridge Projects

About the role

We are seeking two Project Engineers to join a leading Queensland civil contractor on major road and bridge projects on the Sunshine Coast. The role involves delivering complex infrastructure works to DTMR specifications, managing project timelines, budgets and stakeholder expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design coordination and construction of road and bridge projects.
• Monitor project progress, ensure compliance with DTMR specifications and Australian standards.
• Manage budgets, schedules and procurement activities.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare and present regular project reports and documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience on Australian civil infrastructure projects, particularly road and bridge works.
• Familiarity with DTMR specifications and complex construction environments.
• Ability to work on-site in the Sunshine Coast region.
