About the role
HDR is seeking a Project Coordinator / Architect to join its multidisciplinary team. In this position you will work closely with the project team to develop design concepts, produce construction documentation, and ensure alignment with client briefs and HDR standards.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the architectural design process and develop alternative solutions.
- Create presentation graphics, study models, renderings, montages, and diagrams to communicate design intent.
- Contribute to early‑stage project activities such as design brief development, site analysis, and information gathering.
- Review design reports from prior stages and assess design intent hierarchy.
- Assist in preparing internal and external design and documentation reviews.
- Begin independently producing schematic, design development, and construction documentation.
Required profile
- Strong visualisation and presentation abilities, including sketching and diagramming.
- Understanding of national and international design precedents and best practices.
- Ability to translate design intent into clear project deliverables across all phases.
- Awareness of material specifications and limitations within project contexts.
