Production Supervisor – PM Shift

About the role

McCormick is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the PM (afternoon) shift at its Palmwoods manufacturing site on the Sunshine Coast. The role involves overseeing packaging operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and quality while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Motivate and lead a team of production operators, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Implement best practices to improve production efficiency, minimise downtime and reduce waste.
• Enforce quality control measures to meet McCormick’s rigorous standards.
• Champion safety compliance through training and protocol enforcement.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain effective communication with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of production processes, quality control and safety protocols.
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Experience with TPM systems.
• Ability to complete and coach RCA activities.
