Production Supervisor

About the role

Primo is looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment within a well-established FMCG business. The role champions safety and quality and inspires high-performing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure production complies with SOPs, GMP, HACCP and hygiene standards, enforce dress standards and oversee GMP/start-up checklists
• Review and sign off HACCP and QCP documentation, monitor critical and quality control points and guide corrective actions
• Drive WHS compliance, implement audit outcomes and complete regular floor walks
• Optimise labour allocation, manage weekly stocktakes and monitor yield and product giveaway
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering on equipment issues and keep equipment safe and ready
• Maintain 5S housekeeping, lead continuous improvement and report accurately
• Communicate KPIs, train and mentor team members and build future leaders

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years' leadership experience in FMCG or manufacturing
• Proven ability to lead teams and influence across stakeholders
• Highly organised, resilient and able to handle competing priorities in a fast pace

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of GMP, WHS, HACCP and quality systems
• Analytical skills with experience using production data and reporting tools
