Production Operator II R4

About the role

H.B. Fuller, the largest pure-play adhesives company in the world, is hiring a Production Operator II R4. The role covers entry-level production tasks performed under supervision, including preparation of raw materials, operating mixers, packaging and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare raw materials and packaging: check labels for correct weight, type and lot/batch number, then charge materials into mixers and follow process parameters.
• Operate mixers: load materials according to instructions, take samples, unload and pack, and document process figures and results for traceability and legal requirements.
• Follow Quality and Operating procedures, complete initial testing and release of products, and ensure finished products meet standard quality and visual appearance.
• Pack the final product correctly, report any label mistakes to the Production Manager/Supervisor and take corrective action.
• Maintain machinery and work areas in a clean condition and follow EHS policies, reporting any safety deviations.
• Carry out other duties requested by the Production Manager/Supervisor.

Required profile

• Basic educational degree, high school diploma or general education diploma.
• 2+ years' experience as a Production Operator I or 3+ years in an industrial environment.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, production processes, safety regulations and quality procedures.
• Availability to work in shifts.
• Preferred: knowledge of chemical mixing and packaging processes and understanding of basic English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of common software programs (MS Office).
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance, and work in a chemical environment with temperature, dust, smell and noise.
