Production Operator – Full‑Time Permanent

About the role

Join Nestlé’s Production team in Smithtown as a Production Operator. You will work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, supporting material preparation and line operations while championing safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement and structured problem‑solving on the production line.
• Maintain line standards, safety protocols and the 4M’s (Man, Machine, Method, Material).
• Promote a "zero injury, defect, waste" mindset and uphold safety, health, environment and quality standards.
• Participate in Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) and Total Performance Management (TPM) initiatives.
• Ensure all work complies with quality, safety, reliability and cost requirements.

Required profile

• Reliable and flexible, able to work shift patterns.
• Enthusiastic learner with strong focus on safety, quality and wellbeing.
• Good numeracy, literacy and communication abilities.
• Physical capability for manual handling and a valid forklift licence.
• Commitment to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and high attention to standards.
