Production Operator - Afternoon Shift

About the role

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our packaging line on the afternoon shift at our Cavan facility. The role involves operating equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards, and supporting the team in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate packaging machinery and related equipment during the 2 pm‑10 pm shift.
• Identify hazards and work with the Team Leader to resolve them.
• Follow Quality, GMP, Hygiene and Food Safety policies and complete required paperwork.
• Perform preventative and general maintenance on production equipment.
• Participate in job rotation and teamwork as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in FMCG or food manufacturing is desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to conduct change‑overs and maintenance.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Forklift licence (preferred).
• Walkie Stacker operation.
• Basic mechanical comprehension.
