Production Manager – Inclusive Food Packaging

About the role

The Production Manager will lead day‑to‑day production operations for a disability‑focused employer, ensuring efficient workflow, quality service delivery and commercial outcomes. This role also creates inclusive workplace opportunities, helping supported employees develop vocational skills through structured training and coaching.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate receipting of all product movement to maintain stock flow within the service area.
• Provide accurate customer quotes and ensure quoted deadlines are met for satisfaction.
• Assist in quality control processes and communicate with the Organisation’s Quality Manager to maintain policies, procedures and continuous improvement.
• Maintain and manage budgets to meet organisational performance targets.
• Develop, implement and evaluate production systems to maximise production potential.

Required profile

• Current driver’s licence.
• Eligibility for Blue Card (Working with Children), Yellow Card NDIS Worker Screening and National Police Certificate.
• Desirable HACCP qualification.

Required skills

• Experience in food packaging and labelling production.
• Production planning and resource allocation.
• Quality assurance and compliance management.
