Production Manager – Apparel Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our end‑to‑end garment production process. Based at our head office in Warriewood, you will work closely with Design, Product Development, Raw Materials and both local and international manufacturing partners to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery of high‑quality apparel.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full production cycle from purchase order to delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with on‑shore and off‑shore manufacturers.
• Monitor production schedules, identify risks and resolve delays proactively.
• Collaborate with Product Development and Raw Materials teams to meet all production requirements.
• Negotiate lead times, drive cost efficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee quality, delivery and performance metrics across the supplier base.
• Coordinate approvals, shipment readiness and production documentation.
• Partner with Logistics to ensure timely warehouse receipt.

Required profile

• Previous Production Manager experience in fashion or apparel.
• Proven track record managing both offshore and onshore garment manufacturers.
• Strong understanding of garment manufacturing timelines and critical‑path management.
• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective negotiation and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with AP21 or similar ERP/production management systems.
