Production Labourer – Carole Park – $36/hr + Overtime (Day Shift)

About the role

Fuse Recruitment is seeking experienced Production Labourers for a hand‑sorting role with a national leader in building product manufacturing. The position is based in Carole Park, Brisbane, on a day shift (6 am‑2:30 pm) and starts as a temporary contract with the opportunity to become permanent after three months.

Key responsibilities

• Load timber sheets onto cutting machinery and manually stack oversized sheets onto pallets.
• Count and inspect stock for defects, perform quality‑assurance checks, and match paperwork to orders.
• Operate pallet jack, LF forklift and counter‑balance forklift to move pallets up to 6 m long.
• Wrap, strap, shrink‑wrap and palletise goods for shipping.
• Pack goods and transfer products between work areas.

Required profile

• Experience operating LF and counter‑balance forklifts.
• Familiarity with handling oversized pallets and timber/wood products.
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg and work in a loud, dusty environment.
• Strong attention to detail, WHS knowledge and commitment to a long‑term role.
