Production Coordinator – Animation Studio

About the role

Flying Bark Productions is seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join its animation team in Sydney. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will support a specific department and help ensure smooth workflow and on‑time delivery across the studio.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities for the assigned department (asset/design, lighting/comp, or animation).
• Work closely with the department supervisor to keep production on schedule.
• Manage documentation, files, and spreadsheets to support efficient hand‑offs to downstream teams.
• Maintain confidential information with discretion.
• Provide diary management and administrative support to the Production Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of production coordination experience in CG animated film or episodic series.
• Proven experience coordinating asset/design, lighting/comp, or animation departments.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Shotgrid.
• Strong organizational, diary‑management, and written/ verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential material professionally.
• Patient, empathetic, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a flexible attitude.
