Product Owner, Threat Intelligence, Hunting and Detection

About the role

The Product Owner for Threat Intelligence, Hunting and Detection will lead a multidisciplinary squad that includes detection engineers, threat hunters and intelligence analysts. You will use threat intelligence and breach‑attack simulation tools to identify emerging threats, close detection gaps and prioritize risk mitigation for ANZ.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an operating model that turns threat intelligence into measurable risk reduction.
• Identify and model threat actors targeting the bank, providing context for incidents and red‑team exercises.
• Use threat intelligence to highlight gaps in detection capabilities and drive the creation of new detections.
• Oversee breach‑attack simulation and threat‑modeling activities to inform the bank’s cyber‑risk posture.
• Maintain industry collaboration networks to stay current on the threat landscape.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading security‑focused product teams or squads.
• Strong understanding of cyber‑threat intelligence, threat hunting and detection engineering.
• Ability to translate intelligence into actionable risk‑prioritisation and remediation plans.
• Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders across the organisation.
