Product Manager - Remote or Hybrid

About the role

UntilNow is looking for a Product Manager for a contract role, remote or hybrid from its Sydney studio, which could become part-time or full-time. You will lead product work for startups, scaleups and enterprise clients, from early discovery and strategy through to launch and iteration, and help shape Rally, the company's own proposal platform. Product work is AI augmented and outcome driven, and you will work closely with the founder, product designers and engineers in a small, senior team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery with clients: stakeholder interviews, user research, competitor and market analysis, and turn findings into clear problem statements.
• Shape product strategy, define outcomes and success metrics, and build roadmaps balancing user value, business goals and technical reality.
• Write briefs, user stories and acceptance criteria, and run product rituals such as kick-offs, stand-ups, showcases and retros.
• Prioritise scope and trade-offs, and partner with designers on flows, prototypes and testing, and with engineers on feasibility and delivery.
• Use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor for research synthesis, spec writing, prototyping and analysis.
• Run UX and go-to-market audits, track shipped products with analytics and customer feedback, and contribute to the roadmap and go-to-market for Rally.

Required profile

• 4+ years as a product manager, ideally across B2B, SaaS or fintech products.
• Experience in a studio, agency or consultancy, or at a startup wearing several hats.
• Strong discovery skills, with a track record of shipping digital products and measuring their impact.
• Closely working relationship with designers, confident in design critique; enough technical understanding to talk with engineers about APIs, data and architecture.
• Active use of AI tools in everyday work, excellent communication, and able to present to founders and senior stakeholders.
• Nice to have: AI feature or LLM product experience, founder or early-stage startup experience, pricing or go-to-market experience, comfort prototyping with AI build tools, and a background in design or research.
