Technology Delivery Partner

About the role

A major organisation in the critical infrastructure sector is undertaking a multi-year technology transformation covering infrastructure, cyber security, data, enterprise systems and operational technology. West Recruitment is recruiting a Technology Delivery Partner on a fixed-term contract of $200k per annum, starting immediately in Parramatta under a hybrid arrangement. The role suits a Business Analyst ready to move into project management and delivery, and requires candidates to be permanently based in Sydney and Australian citizens or permanent residents.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to understand operational challenges, identify technology opportunities and build a prioritised technology roadmap.
• Lead discovery workshops and turn business needs into clear requirements.
• Develop business cases, Statements of Work, technical specifications and supporting documentation.
• Manage technology projects through planning, procurement, design, testing, implementation and handover.
• Work with Solution Architects so solutions match enterprise architecture, security and technology standards.
• Manage external technology vendors against scope, milestones, budgets and contracts.
• Coordinate stakeholders across technology, infrastructure, cybersecurity, operations and commercial teams.
• Manage schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies and governance, and report to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst or in a blended technology delivery role, managing technology initiatives from discovery to implementation.
• Experience in critical infrastructure, enterprise asset management, energy, utilities, construction, engineering or other regulated industries.
• Proven experience developing business cases, Statements of Work, delivery plans and vendor agreements.
• Strong multi-vendor management experience.
• Ability to work closely with Solution Architects and technical teams.
