Product Lead, Lumen Frontier

About the role

Lumen Frontier is the forward edge of Lumen, CommBank's design system, bringing together product, design and front-end engineering to tackle ambitious customer experience problems and turn them into scalable capabilities. The Product Lead sets the ambition and focus of Frontier, identifies consequential customer problems and emerging opportunities, and brings product, design and engineering together to turn them into real experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Identify important customer problems and opportunities across digital experiences where Frontier's multidisciplinary capability can deliver a step change.
• Stay close to emerging technologies, interaction models and changing customer expectations.
• Create an environment where designers and engineers can move quickly from opportunity to prototype, test with customers and learn what works.
• Partner with feature teams on challenging experience problems, raising the ambition of their work.
• Turn successful experiments into reusable patterns and capabilities through Lumen and the Local Libraries for the CommBank app and NetBank.
• Define how the CommBank app and NetBank libraries evolve while staying connected to Lumen.
• Establish measures of customer impact, experience quality, adoption and leverage, and share a clear view of opportunities with product, design, engineering and senior leaders.

Required profile

• Track record leading digital products from early discovery and experimentation through delivery, adoption and continuous improvement.
• Ability to create an ambitious product vision and turn it into a focused strategy, roadmap and sequence of bets.
• Experience working across sophisticated digital products, platforms or ecosystems, ideally at significant scale.
• Comfort operating with ambiguity and moving between exploration and execution.
• Ability to build relationships across designers, engineers, product teams and senior stakeholders.
• Background in Product, Design or Engineering; experience with design systems, platforms, developer or designer tooling, emerging technology or experimental product teams is valuable.
