Product Costing & FA Accounting SME - SAP

About the role

The Product Costing & FA Accounting Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide functional expertise and business process knowledge for the ANZ SAP S/4 implementation, supporting end‑to‑end design, testing and adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Provide domain SME input across design, build and deployment of Product Costing & FA Accounting.
• Document and validate current‑state processes, business requirements and pain points.
• Support future‑state process and solution design aligned to SAP S/4.
• Participate in workshops, review and validate proposed changes.
• Assist with issue and risk management, escalation when required.
• Contribute to testing activities, including scenario input and defect triage.
• Support change and readiness activities such as documentation, training inputs and communications.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and provide regular updates to the Stream Lead.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in process improvement, project or system‑related initiatives.
• Ability to document requirements and translate business needs into practical solutions.
• Experience supporting workshops and delivery activities (testing, training, implementation).
• Comfortable working in a changing environment with competing priorities.
• Strong functional knowledge of Product Costing & FA Accounting.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage priorities and timelines.
• Willingness to travel on a routine basis.
