Finance AP SME – SAP

About the role

The Finance AP Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide functional expertise and business process knowledge for the ANZ SAP S/4 implementation at Kraft Heinz. Working closely with the Stream Lead, project team and business stakeholders, the SME supports end‑to‑end process and system design, requirement validation and adoption throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Finance AP domain SME input across design, build and deployment phases.
• Document and validate current‑state processes, business requirements and pain points.
• Support future‑state process and solution design aligned to SAP S/4.
• Participate in workshops, design discussions and review proposed changes.
• Assist with issue and risk management, including escalation when required.
• Contribute to testing activities: scenario input, execution support, defect triage and outcome validation.
• Support change and readiness activities such as process documentation, training inputs and communications.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and provide regular updates to the Stream Lead.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in process improvement, project or system‑related initiatives.
• Proven ability to document requirements and translate business needs into practical solutions.
• Experience supporting workshops and delivery activities (testing, training, implementation).
• Comfortable working in a changing environment with competing priorities.
• Strong Finance AP functional knowledge and effective communication in a matrix environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage priorities and timelines.
• Willingness to travel on a routine basis.
