Product & Category Coordinator - Automotive Parts

About the role

Auto Parts Group (APG), part of GPC Asia Pacific, is looking for a full-time permanent Product / Category Coordinator based in Brendale, Queensland. Reporting to the Procurement and Pricing Manager, the Product Development team supports product range development, supplier coordination, catalogue accuracy, pricing and category performance across automotive parts categories. You will work closely with Purchasing, Sales, Marketing and approved suppliers to identify opportunities and support profitable range growth.

Key responsibilities

• Review the product lifecycle: monitor product performance and recommend additions, replacements, rationalisation or other range changes.
• Support product reviews through sales analysis, demand forecasting and minimum/maximum stock-level recommendations.
• Analyse sales, margin, pricing and product performance data to identify opportunities for profitable category growth.
• Maintain accurate catalogue and pricing data and support product launches and promotions with Marketing.
• Work with approved suppliers to expand product offerings, gather product information, monitor competitors and review supplier performance.
• Provide Sales teams and customers with product specifications, performance guidance and product information.
• Champion APG values and comply with company policies, purchasing authorities and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in product coordination, catalogue management, category support, purchasing or a similar commercial role (auto parts experience desirable).
• Strong analytical skills, able to interpret sales, pricing, margin and market data.
• High attention to detail and confidence managing product information, range data and systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, working across teams and with suppliers.
• A proactive, customer-focused approach aligned with APG values.
