Procurement Specialist - Procurement and Supply

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement and Supply Team at Canberra Health Services on a 12‑month temporary basis covering maternity leave. You will work closely with a diverse client base to deliver timely procurement outcomes and support the organisation’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely procurement outcomes while managing competing priorities and projects.
• Provide procurement support services, including advice, processes and templates for both face‑to‑face and electronic activities.
• Assist in developing procurement and contract documentation under senior guidance.
• Prepare procurement‑related documents such as minutes, RFQs/Tenders, risk plans and reports.
• Coordinate procurement and contract reporting in line with CHS and ACT Government requirements.
• Maintain CHS and whole‑of‑government registers by gathering information from multiple data sources.
