Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team at the Military Vehicle Center of Excellence. Reporting to the Category Manager, you will lead sourcing activities for designated programs, ensuring the right goods and services are delivered to support our manufacturing demand.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead end‑to‑end procurement for assigned programs, including sourcing, tendering, contract negotiation and supplier management.
• Conduct market research and analysis to inform sourcing strategies and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain requirement documents, purchase orders and reporting in line with corporate procurement standards.
• Manage indirect costs related to capital expenditure, plant and equipment, and tools.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers across all levels.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑cycle procurement within a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of indirect cost categories linked to capital projects.
• Ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian citizenship required).
• Willingness to travel interstate when required.
