Procurement Specialist – Capital Projects (12‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing and contract management for a portfolio of minor capital projects. This 12‑month fixed‑term position is based in Perth and offers flexible hybrid working, with at least two days per week remote.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and contract management activities across capital projects.
• Develop and execute commercial strategies and sourcing plans.
• Support contract negotiations and manage supplier performance.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and drive value.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and manage supply risk.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management (ideally 5+ years).
• Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation skills.
• Background in mining, projects, or heavy industry preferred.
• Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders.
• Passion for delivering value and driving continuous improvement.
