Procurement / Purchasing Manager

About the role

Lead procurement, inventory and supplier outcomes for a growing technical products business on the Gold Coast. You will own the full goods flow from strategic sourcing to final customer delivery, driving an integrated supply chain approach.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing with senior leadership to secure quality materials at competitive costs.
• Improve supplier relationships, commercial terms and purchasing outcomes.
• Oversee sales and operations planning across supply, demand and capacity.
• Strengthen inventory controls, stock accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
• Manage third‑party logistics partnerships and storage arrangements.
• Support import, export, freight and domestic transport activities.
• Align procurement priorities with Sales, Operations and Customer Service.
• Improve ERP use, reporting accuracy and procurement processes.

Required profile

• At least five years’ experience in a senior purchasing or procurement role.
• Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, distribution or a related environment.
• Strong commercial purchasing and supplier relationship management skills.
• Hands‑on demand planning, forecasting and inventory optimisation experience.
• Leadership experience across operational or cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• ERP platforms (experience with Microsoft Dynamics or Wise is a plus).
• Microsoft Office applications.
