Procurement Officer – Plumbing Services

About the role

Sanwell Plumbing is seeking a detail‑oriented Procurement Officer to support its construction and estimating teams. You will manage the purchasing process, ensuring timely, cost‑effective acquisition of materials, tools, plant, equipment, and services required for business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, plant, equipment, and services.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate and forecast procurement to meet operational requirements.
• Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and budgets.
• Track orders and guarantee timely delivery of goods.
• Analyze spending data and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor performance.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement with solid knowledge of commercial plumbing materials, systems, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Strong negotiation, organization, and communication abilities.
• Proactive problem‑solver who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
