Procurement Officer – Culcain BESS Project

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Officer to support the Culcain BESS project. The role will manage the sourcing, negotiation and purchase of materials, equipment and services to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify synergies and standardise requirements to optimise sourcing.
• Prepare and launch tender invitations in line with the Joint Venture process.
• Develop tender analysis, negotiation strategies and conduct technical/commercial interviews with shortlisted vendors.
• Negotiate contracts to achieve best value and align with project budgets.
• Prepare, review and follow‑up on contracts and related documentation.
• Organise local purchases, monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Resolve issues such as shortages, incorrect deliveries or invoice discrepancies.
• Support supplier performance reviews and recommend cost‑saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with finance, warehouse, operations and other internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement or a related field.
• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement or supply‑chain operations.
• Ability to critique, recommend and implement efficiency initiatives.
• Strong analytical, organisational and attention‑to‑detail capabilities.
• Knowledge of procurement laws, regulations and ethical standards is an advantage.
