Procurement Manager – Fleet (Balcatta/Melbourne)

About the role

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead a multi‑year fleet procurement programme covering buses and light vehicles. The role will be based in Balcatta or the Melbourne Support Centre and will focus on delivering total cost of ownership value, safety, compliance and sustainability through strategic sourcing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver a major, multi‑year fleet procurement programme for buses and light vehicles, including OEM sourcing, leasing/financing, accessories and fit‑out.
• Develop and execute a Fleet Category Strategy and Sourcing Plan aligned with demand, replacement cycles, safety standards and ESG targets.
• Establish go‑to‑market models (multi‑lot RFT/RFQ, panels, catalogue agreements) and build TCO models and business cases for approval.
• Manage contracts with OEMs, dealers, leasing partners, body builders, telematics and charging providers.
• Drive supplier risk management, safety‑critical supply chain governance and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• 7–10+ years of strategic procurement or category management experience, preferably in fleet or heavy‑equipment sourcing.
• Proven track record delivering large, complex multi‑lot tenders and multi‑year framework agreements.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract drafting skills.
• Experience in TCO modelling, scenario analysis and leasing/finance evaluation.
• Ability to manage supplier risk, safety‑critical supply chains and performance governance.
