Procurement Category Officer – Marketing & Agencies

About the role

The Procurement Category Officer – Marketing & Agencies will lead procurement activities for Geely Auto in Australia, focusing on marketing, trade marketing and logistics categories. This role acts as the primary liaison between Geely Auto Australia and the global headquarters on all procurement matters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the procurement process for marketing, trade marketing and logistics categories in the local market.
• Source indirect goods and services efficiently and cost‑effectively.
• Collaborate with HQ and internal departments to align purchasing needs with business strategies.
• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers for transportation, storage, promotion, advertising and events.
• Negotiate contracts to secure favourable price, delivery, quality and service terms.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance and resolve disputes.
• Develop and implement cost‑optimisation and efficiency strategies for the supply chain and marketing activities.
• Conduct market analysis and monitor automotive industry trends.
• Participate in tender processes and evaluate proposals.
• Create procurement policies and procedures, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and contracts in compliance with regulations.
• Support company projects, coordinate cross‑functional resources and prepare management updates.
