Procurement Category Manager

About the role

Geely is seeking a Procurement Category Manager to lead the Indirect Services category, covering Marketing, IT, Logistics, Aftersales and other business services. The role combines strategic sourcing with hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the Indirect Services procurement category, including marketing, IT, logistics and aftersales.
• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing and tender processes (RFP/RFQ/RFI) from requirement scoping to supplier selection and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain relationships with a diverse supplier base, ensuring performance, value and continuous improvement.
• Provide commercial advice to internal stakeholders and deliver effective procurement solutions.
• Drive cost optimisation and value creation across indirect spend categories.
• Establish and improve procurement processes, governance and compliance standards.
• Support cross‑functional projects from a procurement and commercial perspective.
• Oversee vehicle operations, asset lifecycle management and reporting to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing or related discipline.
• 5–10 years’ experience in procurement, sourcing or category management, preferably in indirect services.
• Proven ability to lead full sourcing cycles, negotiate contracts and deliver cost optimisation.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical/problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
• Experience working in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment balancing strategy and execution.
• Full working rights in Australia (no visa sponsorship).
