Procurement Category Manager - General Goods & Services

About the role

Federal Hospitality is looking for a Procurement Category Manager to join its Finance & Commercial team. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will own the General Goods & Services category, managing supplier contracts that support operations across Federal Hospitality venues. The role is strategic category management rather than transactional purchasing: day-to-day ordering sits with operational teams, while you focus on sourcing, supplier performance, contract management and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end category lifecycle across a broad portfolio of General Goods & Services suppliers, including sourcing, market analysis, supplier assessments, contract negotiations and supplier performance management.
• Work with stakeholders to improve value, reduce costs and mitigate risk.
• Lead end-to-end tender processes through TenderLink, including developing tender documentation, managing supplier responses, evaluating submissions and presenting recommendations.
• After contracts are implemented, work with suppliers and operational teams to ensure ongoing value and performance.

Required profile

• Experience in category management, strategic sourcing, procurement, contract management or a related commercial discipline.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, commercially curious and motivated by continuous improvement.
