About the role
The City of Salisbury is seeking a Procurement Business Partner to lead sourcing and procurement activities across a range of goods, services and works. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver best‑practice procurement solutions that ensure value for money, compliance and strong commercial outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Manage end‑to‑end tender processes, from preparation of documentation to evaluation and award.
- Support contract management, including monitoring performance and handling variations.
- Provide expert advice on procurement policy, procedures and systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and build procurement capability across the organisation.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, sourcing or contract management within a public sector or similar environment.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply procurement legislation and policy.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on delivering commercial value.
