Process Systems Practice Leader

About the role

Aurecon is seeking an experienced Process Systems Practice Leader to join its Queensland Industrial Team in Brisbane. The role will drive the delivery of process engineering projects across the energy supply chain, supporting the transition to a lower‑carbon economy and the development of hydrogen solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Process Systems practice, providing people and team leadership, including competency development.
• Oversee the delivery of the Process Systems project portfolio, ensuring technical excellence and timely execution.
• Support the Service Group Leader in securing new revenue opportunities and expanding market share.
• Maintain and grow a strong client network, leveraging existing relationships to generate business.
• Manage commercial and financial aspects of projects, including budgeting and profitability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in process engineering within the energy or industrial sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and develop capability.
• Strong client‑facing skills with a track record of building and sustaining relationships.
• Commercial acumen with experience in project financial management.
