Process Engineer – Offshore Gas Production (Perth)

About the role

This full‑time, 12‑month contract position is based in Perth and supports offshore gas production facilities. The Process Engineer will join a multidisciplinary engineering team to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support for offshore production, maintaining compliance with standards and managing technical documentation.
• Coordinate periodic safety and risk assessments such as HAZOP and LOPA, and track closure of actions.
• Liaise with external contractors to progress technical deliverables.
• Initiate and manage change processes for technical modifications.
• Ensure alignment with management systems, engineering standards and specifications.
• Promote strong HSEQ performance, focusing on process safety and asset integrity.
• Maintain governance, verification and assurance across all activities.
• Support continuous improvement and consistency in engineering practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum six years of experience in a relevant engineering role, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement.
