Process Control Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Process Control Engineer to join INPEX’s Operations team at the Darwin LNG facility. The role focuses on real‑time optimisation of plant performance, supporting control strategies and troubleshooting operational issues in a world‑scale LNG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day process control performance, troubleshooting, and optimisation across the facility.
• Develop and enhance control strategies to improve plant stability, efficiency, and throughput.
• Monitor control system performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to alarm management and maintain control system integrity.
• Support system changes, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve complex operational challenges.
• Contribute to technical reviews, audits, and documentation.

Required profile

• A degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in LNG, oil and gas, power generation, mining, or other complex industrial operations.
• Safety‑minded attitude and ability to work in a hands‑on, highly connected team.
