Process Assistant – Operations Support

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Process Assistant to support daily operations at its BWU2 robotics site in Australia. Reporting to an Area Manager, you will help ensure smooth workflow, safety, and performance across the production area.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Area Manager with labor allocation, meeting facilitation and job assignment.
• Provide vacation coverage and policy follow‑up, including attendance tracking.
• Track and report labor hours and associate performance metrics.
• Train associates, verify SOP compliance and update SOPs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, reporting hazards immediately.
• Participate in Operational Excellence and safety initiatives.
• Step in to perform production duties when required.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights and holidays.
• Physical capability to lift up to 49 lb, stand or walk for up to 12 hours and perform frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending and reaching.
• 18 years of age or older.

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
