Principal/Engagement Manager – Private Capital (Melbourne)

About the role

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Principal/Engagement Manager to join its Private Capital team in Melbourne. You will work on high‑impact investment cases, advising investors and portfolio companies on strategy and value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop insights into commercial assumptions underpinning client investment cases.
• Analyse target companies’ markets, performance, business plans and value‑creation opportunities.
• Interact with investors and management teams to shape and drive strategy.
• Develop and foster talent within the Private Capital team.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in consulting, banking or private capital.
• Self‑starter, independent thinker who works well within a team.
• Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset.
