Principal Finance Business Partner

About the role

QLeave is seeking an experienced finance leader to head the Finance Business Partnering function. In this hands‑on role you will lead budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting while providing strategic financial advice to support organisational priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of three Finance Business Partners, fostering a collaborative, service‑oriented culture.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting processes to deliver accurate, timely financial information.
• Provide practical financial advice, detailed analysis and modelling for operational decisions, projects and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure integrity of financial data through active review, validation and reconciliation.
• Build financial capability by coaching stakeholders on drivers, risks and performance outcomes.
• Identify and progress improvements to financial systems, reporting and processes, including cost optimisation opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing and leading a finance business partnering team.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, analysis and performance reporting.
• Ability to interpret financial information and translate findings into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of relevant financial legislation, accounting standards and governance requirements.
• Relevant qualifications such as CA, CPA or CFA are preferred.
