Principal Consultant - Registered or Clinical Psychologist

About the role

PeopleSense by Altius, a psychological service provider founded in 1998 with a national network of over 170 psychologists, is hiring a Principal Psychologist to lead a team of psychologists delivering clinical and organisational psychology services. This is a full-time position with flexibility to be based anywhere in NSW; the preferred locations are Penrith, Chatswood or Sydney CBD, but regional applicants are also encouraged to apply. The salary is AUD 115,000 to 130,000.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a small team of provisional, registered and clinical psychologists, providing guidance, support and mentorship on performance management, career progression and business operations.
• Facilitate and take part in clinical supervision of client caseloads and carry out quality assurance activities to maintain service excellence.
• Deliver psychological services to a caseload of clients and customers, including:
• Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselling for adults, children, adolescents and couples
• Onsite and critical incident attendance
• Private and Medicare-rebated counselling
• Compensation scheme work for pain, injury adjustment and trauma
• Multidisciplinary interventions and psychological assessment

Required profile

• Psychologist with full AHPRA registration.
• Experience leading a team and supporting psychologists is essential.
• Full Australian working rights and ability to obtain a national police check.
• A current driver's licence and a fully insured vehicle.
