Principal Client Manager

About the role

Marsh Risk is seeking a senior Principal Client Manager to lead a portfolio of multinational clients, providing strategic advice on employee health and benefits. The role is based in Sydney (Barangaroo) with hybrid working arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex client relationships as the primary contact for multinational accounts.
• Provide strategic guidance on global benefits programme design, financing, and employee health initiatives.
• Manage senior stakeholder expectations, client escalations, and delivery across internal and external teams.
• Review renewal documents, claims trends and market information to support client decisions.
• Contribute to business expansion, client onboarding and development of account strategies.
• Mentor junior colleagues and drive continuous improvement in team ways of working.

Required profile

• Advanced industry experience with proven ability to manage complex client relationships.
• Demonstrated track record of supporting business development and growth targets.
• Strong project management, organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Relevant tertiary degree.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
