Primary and Kindergarten Teacher (Years 4-6)

About the role

Russell Island State School is recruiting a primary and kindergarten teacher for 2027, starting on 21 January 2027 and running until 25 June 2027. Positions are available for Kindergarten to Year 6 (part-time, 0.6–0.8 FTE, negotiable to the successful candidate), Year 4/5 (full-time) and Year 6 (full-time). The school is described as a welcoming island community where relationships between staff, students and families are valued.

Required profile

• A relevant teaching qualification
• Full or provisional QCT registration
• Australian working rights or a valid visa
• Blue card or Blue Card exemption
• Pre-service and graduate teachers are encouraged to apply, including practicum reports, mentor statements and an unofficial transcript
