Pre-Construction Manager

About the role

Built is looking for a Pre‑Construction Manager to lead the front‑end of projects from the Perth head office. You will drive high‑profile tenders, shape bid strategies and work closely with estimating, design and delivery teams to secure and deliver quality work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end tendering and pre‑construction activities, ensuring commercial soundness and strategic alignment.
• Develop winning bid strategies in partnership with estimating teams to refine pricing and improve competitiveness.
• Engage directly with clients, consultants and stakeholders to build relationships, shape solutions and secure new opportunities.
• Identify risks early and apply smart construction methodologies to strengthen project viability.
• Contribute to commercial strategies, including value engineering and contract negotiations.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in pre‑construction, construction management or senior project leadership roles.
• Track record of leading successful tenders and securing major projects.
• Strong commercial acumen and client‑focused mindset.
