Practice Nurse (RN or EN)

About the role

Bluewater Medical Practice is a large, friendly, family-oriented practice offering a holistic approach to diagnosis and management of illness. It is looking for a suitably qualified registered nurse (RN) or enrolled nurse (EN) to join its team of nurses, staff and doctors, working both autonomously and collaboratively to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Immunisations, including childhood, employment, travel and COVID-19 vaccinations
• Wound care
• Patient triage
• Sterilisation and infection control implementation
• Diagnostics required for employment and aviation medicals
• General treatment room duties
• Cold chain management

Required profile

• AHPRA registration and full working rights in Australia; no sponsorship available
• Available to be rostered 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility possible
• Ideally GP nursing experience, and experience with GP chronic condition management plans and health assessments
• Previous experience in a GP clinic is highly desirable
• Current CPR certificate (assistance offered if recently expired)
