Practice Manager – Accounting & Advisory Firm

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Practice Manager to support the day‑to‑day operations of our fast‑growing accounting and advisory firm in Sydney. Reporting directly to the Partners, you will help streamline processes, improve client experiences, and drive operational efficiency as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow, monitor deadlines and assist with capacity planning.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend improvement initiatives.
• Support onboarding of new team members and maintain a positive, accountable culture.
• Maintain and optimise practice management systems and assist with new tool implementation.
• Help deliver a high‑quality client experience, improving onboarding and communication processes.
• Assist with KPI reporting, business performance tracking and strategic projects.

Required profile

• Significant experience in a private‑practice accounting firm (Practice Manager, Office Manager or Client Services Manager).
• Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a solutions‑focused mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with practice management software.
